
Alpine Ski World Cup 2026
Support the world’s top alpine ski athletes in Crans-Montana during the Women’s and Men’s Super-G and Downhill races.
Throughout the weekend, the Crans–Cry d’Er, Montana–Arnouva, and Violettes Express gondola lifts will be open to the public from 8:30 a.m.
Slope access and inter-area connections :
During the Alpine Ski World Cup in Crans-Montana, the organization of the competitions requires temporary adjustments to the ski area. Certain slopes will be closed or only partially accessible in order to ensure the smooth running of training sessions and races.
Below you will find a detailed overview of the affected areas, as well as the available connections between sectors during the event.
Competition areas :
Bellalui / Nationale sector – Men’s events
- Bellalui slope :Part of the slope remains open to skiers outside training and race times.
Access is fully restricted during official training sessions and on race day. - Nationale slope : The National slope is open from Cry d'Er to Marolires via the 14 Ancienne Nationale slope.

Men’s Downhill: Sunday, 1 February 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
Mont Lachaux sector – Women’s events
- The Mont Lachaux slope is closed to skiers for the full duration of the competitions.

Women’s Downhill : Friday, 30 January 2026 at 10:00 a.m - DOWNHILL CANCELLED
Women’s Super-G : Saturday, 31 January 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
Travel and connections between sectors :
- From the Violettes sector to Cry d’Er :
Brigitte slope (15, blue) down to Marolires (mid-station of the Violettes Express gondola), then reach Cry d’Er via the Nationale Express chairlift. - From Cry d’Er to the Violettes sector :
- Bellalui chairlift (last ascent at 4:00 p.m.), then ski down via the Col du Pochet (11, black slope) – route recommended for experienced skiers.
- National trail open to Les Houlès via a tunnel (slow down), then take the Ancienne Nationale (14, red trail, caution: light snow cover) to reach the Violettes Express cable cars.
- Free shuttle buses are also available to reach the Télé Violettes stop from Ycoor or Télé Cry d’Er.
3 spectator areas :
- Barzettes Finish Area : Barzettes Stadium and Barzettes Village open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
